Ruka - Your most memorable day on the Snowboard last Season, and why?
Really hard to say what was the most memorable day in last year, when there were so many goods riding days with my friends. - What/Who influenced you the most in Snowboarding?
My friends - Whats on your Ipod?
Black Sabbath and Jenni Vartiainen - Last memorable Party?
The last new year in Lapland - How do you avoid to hurt yourself?
You always have to know what you are doing, keep focused and concentrated on your tricks. - How and where do you practice on new tricks?
Usually i train new tricks on Bagjump™. - Waterramp, Foampit or BAGJUMP™? And why?
Bagjump™, it’s so soft that you can train new tricks safely without risk of injury. And why, simple, It’s so AMAZING. - New tricks learned on BJ? Any contest-winning tricks?
I've been snowboarding for 15 years and last year I was experimenting BAGJUMP™ for the first time. I learned more new tricks than ever before. - How much more progression is possible, will double flips be standard next season?
Yeah for sure, doubles are pretty standard tricks, if you are riding professional. I think we will see triple during this year. - What else can we expect in the future of snowboarding, where will the progression go?
Snowboarding keeps evolving, that's for sure. Tricks have become more difficult and a lot of snowboarders have been seriously injured eventually the limit will be reached at some point. Fortunately, the training opportunities have improved, thanks to BAGJUMP™. - Have you ever tried Freedrop®, Freeclimb or your Bike into the Bagjump™? How was it?
I've jumped a lot of Freedrop® and it is a very good body control training. Jumping is really fun, you have unlimited possibilities and you get a good adrenaline rush. I have not tried BMX or mountain climbing yet, but i definitely want to try. - What was your highest jump into the Bagjump™?
18 meters - Most memorable Trick into the Bagjump™?
Some snowboard tricks... - How did you hear about Bagjump™, when was the first time you tried it?
Henri Sankala called me pretty much exactly one year ago and presented a case that he brings the country a new innovation called Bagjump™ and asked if I would be interested to try and possibly to work with Bagjump™. I did not take long time to think about that and i called back to the Henri, I'm involved. The first jump was Ylläs hall, it was 11 meters high roof and I can say that I was excited heheh .. - Where do you see Bagjump™ in 5 years?
Hopefully, in several ski resorts. After all, Bagjump™ is amazing, an absolute tool for training and just for having fun of course. I see a very bright future indeed! - Any last words?
Do what you love.
